Project Abstract | The relationship between the ocean wave height and the ground vibration strength of the signal recorded on the land based seismometers will be investigated. The study will investigate the sources contributing to the signal during a particular time period, to locate the most dominant source using single stations and finally to calculate a mathematical relationship between the ocean wave height and the microseism, to reconstruct the wave height using only seismic data from onshore seismometers. |
