I am currently a partner in the 3.1 million euro FP7 project PEACOX, tasked with the development of navigation tools to promote environmental friendly travel choices for users to reduce their CO2 emissions and thus their contribution to climate change. My role in the project is in the development of a real time trip by trip CO2 emissons model and personal exposure model for 2 European Cities (Vienna & Dublin).

I am currently leading the 1 million euro HydroBPT project ( funded by the ERDF Interreg IVA programme. The project examines the potential for improvement in the sustainability of water supply industry through improvements in energy efficiency. These efficieny improvements are focused on the use of micro-hydropower in the water network. The project comprises partners in the UK and Ireland and involves research on topics such as Engineering Design, Optimisation, Environmental Impact, CO2 emission, Organisational Structures, Business Plans, Regulatory Environment & Policy.
