Organisation or Individual Expertise:
Researcher with a broad knowledge of computing techniques to assist in understanding of environmental applications. Currently working on catchment management support tools using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to model water and nutrient delivery along pathways to receptors of concern. These tools are designed to assist in achieving Water Framework Directive (WFD) objectives for characterisation and planning mitigation measures. Previously worked with Intelligent Computing techniques to produce an energy saving product. Expertise in optimisation and control algorithms assisted data mining of Building Management Systems (BMS) data. The system was deployed in live buildings with the result in proven savings on heating, ventilation and cooling systems (HVAC).
