Dr Eva M. Mockler has been working in water resources research for 7 years. Her key areas of expertise include integrated catchment modelling, sensitivity and uncertainty analyses, catchment scale hydrology, conceptual model development, agricultural pollution and attenuation, and nutrient source apportionment. Following from her PhD in Hydrology (UCD, 2014) she was awarded a 3-year EPA Research Fellowship for the CatchmentTools Project which is developing models for strategic environmental assessments focusing on water quality (nutrients and sediment). Dr Mockler has co-authored 9 peer-reviewed articles with many Irish and international collaborators, 3 EPA reports, and >10 conference papers. She has successfully competed for research funds of €700,000, including a Dobbin Award (2013) and 2 EPA-funded Projects (2013 & 2016). She actively participates in international conferences through convening (EGU 2015) & presenting in Ireland (e.g. ESAI Environ 2016, National Hydrology conference 2013 & 2015) and internationally (e.g. iEMSs 2012 & 2016, AGU 2013, EGU 2015).
